Jackson Township Kitchen

This first-floor renovation in Jackson Township brought the kitchen, laundry room, powder room, living room and foyer together under one cohesive design.

From the initial consultation, it was no question that this kitchen needed to be an open concept space. A closed and choppy floor plan made accessing the kitchen and laundry room feel as though you were passing through a maze. With the walls removed and the arched openings built, this home finally felt perfect.

The expansive island with a built-in banquette was the base for the kitchen design. This has now become a favorite place to eat meals, study and do homework, and host many family game nights. The dark painted finish is just what the new space needed to feel grounded.

In contrast, the kitchen perimeter features a natural stained, quartersawn white oak cabinet, light quartz countertops, and a zellige tiled backsplash. We built a custom, plaster range hood that stands out against the tile. Brushed gold finishes, natural elements, and many mixed textures give the eye something new to discover every time.

The new laundry room features adjustable pull-out drying racks, open shelving for laundry baskets, and tall storage for everyday supplies.
We washed the wall behind the powder room vanity in the same zellige tile as the flooring. By incorporating this design element, we gave an accent to the wall mounted faucet, oversized mirror and sconce lighting. Even the smallest room in the house needs a dedicated moment!

Featured throughout the project are Haute Designs Signature cabinetry. We partnered with Howell Contracting on this renovation. Their excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail is showcased throughout!

A Luxe and Timeless Lower-Level for Entertaining

Yes, this is a "basement"! We are so proud to announce the completion of this lower-level kitchen, bar, powder room and more!

Howell Contracting did what they do best: absolute perfection! From design to installation, we worked hand-in-hand to create an entertainer's dream!

The striking Dekton flooring, in the color Rem, is mixed with a wood-look porcelain plank. This flooring is featured throughout the entire lower-level and is truly the highlight of this design.

Our Signature Custom cabinetry is displayed in the kitchen and bar. We paired a rich stained walnut and a moody paint to enhance the feeling of luxury. To ground the dark cabinetry, the white with brown veined quartz sits in the kitchen, bar, and full-height splash. Our fabricator made quartz shelves that we incorporated into the backsplash.

Antique mirrors with a gold vein were added to the pantry cabinets at the bar. This adds just a touch of glamour and sophistication for when guests are lounging and having fun! Incorporated into the bar are two sets of refrigerator drawers, a nugget ice maker, and bi-fold pocket doors that conceal the television that was encased in a matching walnut frame. In the tray ceiling we included moody uplighting in a walnut casing for that "wow-factor".
