New living style in basement!

How to turn a dark and old basement into a family friendly space? With the growth of the family, the homeowner needed to have more space dedicated to their grandchildren and family events. We collaborated with our client on the concept and helped with space planning and designing different areas. The main area was the full-size kitchen that needed seating for preparing the food and also for children to sit around for having meals and doing art projects. No brainer, large island will solve this problem for sitting and additional storage. We incorporated existing structure and recessed refrigerator between the walls. Onyx Fabuwood cabinets in Dove finish on perimeter and Oyster on the island with Cambria Colton countertops helped to keep space very light and bright. Light Karndean Vinyl plan flooring with Benjamine Moor Classic Grey Paint on the walls. completed a fresh and airy feel in the room.
